I had no idea I would enjoy this book as much as I did but I would definitely recommend it to young adults and older.

I loved this book because it brought me back to my teenage years in the time this book was released and I ended up really caring for Sam, her friends, her family and the other main characters of the book.

Most of the first few days are spent trying to avoid her impending doom and screwing up but eventually, she realises she can change things for the better. We’ve all been in the shoes of characters in these books and done mean things we’re not proud of but I’m sure everyone would love a chance to do something over again and Sam gets seven chances to make it right and understand the effect her decisions make on the people around her. Samantha dies at the start of the book in a horrible car crash after a party and then wakes up to relive the same day again for seven days until she realises what she has to do. This book completely knocked me off my feet by how easy it was to be absorbed in and once I opened it I didn’t want to stop for anything. In fact, Sam lives the last day of her life seven times, until she realises that by making even the slightest changes, she may hold more power than she ever imagined.īefore I Fall is an absolutely sweeping story about cruel teenagers, redemption, mistakes and human behaviour. However, she still wakes up the next morning. And it is…until she dies in a terrible accident that night.
